On the first evening, Jason and I were woken from a knock on our bedroom door at 1:00 in the morning. Turns out the fire alarm was going off a few floors below. Luckily, Chris and Mae heard it (we couldn't hear a thing in our room). Poor Jaxon was slung over my shoulder and down the 13 flights of stairs we ran! There was no fire, but it did take the fire department awhile to get a hold of someone to turn the alarm off. What a night!!
We spent part of Sunday at the Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola. Jason and Chris got to "fly" a simulator for the F-14 Tomcat (the plane Tom Cruise flew in Top Gun). They enjoyed flying this sim without having an instructor looking down their back and grading them on their every move. After a long morning at the museum, we went back to the condo to get swim gear and spent the rest of the afternoon on the beach.

How fun! It looks like you guys had a great vacation! I loved seeing Jaxon's first time to the ocean!

I megan! I love your blog site. I can't wait to share it with my girls :) We were in Wildcat country this weekend for a swim meet. We thought of you :) I bought a little something for Jaxon. Send me your address via email so I can mail it to you. I love the pictures of your family on the beach...you are so cute! I pray for you daily and want you to know how much we miss you! Caroline shared with a stranger in the toy store in Manhattan about how she had the best 5th grade teacher that prayed with her when Betsy was in the hospital and she is a WILDCAT! So, is your new pad big enough for me and the girls to come visit? :) Better get to the laundry! Hugs, Stacey
