I cannot believe it has been almost 20 days since I last updated this! That just goes to show you how busy I have become since Jaxon started crawling. Free time is a thing in the past. My days are now spent keeping Jaxon and Cooper out of places and things they are not supposed to be into. January has gone extremely fast and we are now looking at celebrating Jaxon's first birthday a week from Monday! It's so hard to believe that the year has gone this fast.
Jason is extremely busy with flying and pulling at least 10 hour days every day. He's exhausted when he gets home and barely has time to say hi, eat dinner, and he's back to the computer or books to study or write up flight plans. He will take his LAST academic test for the T-6 on Monday and we're hoping things will become a bit slower for him after that. Once he's finished with academics, flying the T-6 or a simulator are about all he'll have on his agenda. Yesterday he flew a formation flight for the first time. He is still grinning from it! Imagine flying a little prop airplane with your wingtip just 10 feet apart from another plane's wingtip!! I say, "No thanks", but Jason is already looking forward to his next formation flight.
This week will be busy, yet again. Jason will start night flying and may not get home until 11:00PM some nights. Jason, Jaxon and I will celebrate our birthdays this week. My mom is coming in at the end of the week for Jaxon's birthday. We're having Jaxon's first birthday next Sunday and I've got a lot of cake to bake. Jason is starting to plan his cross-country flight in the T-6 and will most likely be gone February 13-15 (or maybe even longer) as he flies all over the southern part of the country. We are happy to stay busy and enjoy every second we get together as a family. Enjoy some of our latest pictures!
ALL LOTIONED UP!
I was blow-drying my hair yesterday and when I opened the bathroom door I found this:

Jaxon and the floor, covered in my Cherry Blossom lotion! Needless to say, he got another bath that morning, as I scraped lotion our from under his finger nails and out of his mouth.

Feeling guilty?

Who me? I didn't touch your lotion mom, I promise!

Jaxon loves to climb into Cooper's crate. Our nieces and nephew always got a kick out of doing this too. It stresses Cooper out, but we think it's kind of funny. Sometimes he'll even lay down in there, as if taking a nap.

The boys, waiting for Daddy to get home from work.

My little helper wanting to "unload" the dishwasher. He can hear me open this thing from the other side of the house. The minute I open the dishwasher, I hear little hands and knees crawling at lightening speed to come "help". His idea of helping is to pull all of the dirty dishes out and throw them.

Watching out the back door. Daddy is taking Cooper potty and Jaxon loves to watch and giggle at us when we're outside.

He LOVES to give kisses.

So happy! This is one of our regular "Sunday Dinners". We get together with a few other couples on Sunday evenings for dinner and fellowship. Jaxon is completely ignored the entire evening, as you can tell (*wink*).

SOLO PARTY!! Jason's class celebrated last Friday night after the completion of everyone's solo flights. This was our first class party without Jaxon. We had a teenager from the base come over to babysit. She gave a glowing report when we got home and Jaxon slept through the night that evening! I guess she needs to come over more often, so he can sleep through the night. We were very excited to find a sweet girl to babysit, but it sure made us miss our babysitter back home, Betsy. I wish we could move you down here Betsy to be our full-time nanny!!

Aviator Jaxon at church one Sunday!

Me and friend Caitlin enjoying dinner at her home. We had been gone all day shopping in Tupelo and got a call from our husbands saying they were cooking dinner! We got to her house that night and had an amazing pot of chili waiting for us on the table! It was a very cold day, so we were estatic to not have to cook and to have such good food! We are blessed.
Did anyone check his license? Here we are in Tupelo, getting ready to do some shopping at Sam's.

Jaxon just loves his daddy. I wish you could see the smile on his face when his daddy gets home from work every day. It is priceless. I'll try to remember to have a camera ready one day.

Now you know who really controls the remote in our house.

That little man of yours sure is a cutie and he is growing so fast. Watch out after that first birthday they just figure everything out and start getting you ready for the infamous terrible twos! Ruby is almost 14 months and I am pulling my hair out, but it is lots of fun. I know how you feel with the hours and them being away, you never get used to it but we are strong military wives, we can do it all! Have a great birthday tomorrow and I know you will have fun with Jaxon's birthday and your mom coming!
Happy Birthday!!!!!!!! I love the new pictures you posted, especially the one where it looks like Jaxon is going to eat his daddy :) I hope you have a wonderful day today! We love you!
The Kelters :)
Megan I can not believe he is almost a year! I remember when you first brought him to a basketball game. Thats crazy! I also love the fact that when Jaxon does something, like eat you lotion, you always think to get the camera first! I hope I remember to grab the camera first too when we have kids! It is so fun to see those pictures! Congratulations to Jason and all his accomplishments! Thats so neat! And happy birthday to all of you this month! Hope you guys have a good week. Talk to you soon!
