Christmas in Kansas City

We had a blast being home (in Kansas City) for 10 days. Jason was in need of a much deserved break and he enjoyed relaxing, playing XBox with our niece Page, and visiting friends and family he hasn't seen in several months. I enjoyed seeing friends, shopping at Oak Park Mall (a REAL mall) without baby in tow, and being with family. Jaxon had fun playing with cousins Page, Rowan, Braden, and Wyatt, seeing all of his grandmas and grandpas, and mastering the art of crawling. Cooper enjoyed seeing Ouma, tormenting Cozy, and getting spoiled by Memaw. We were so glad to be home for Christmas!

Our sweet nephew Braden - who is 2!

Wild Man Riggs! This is (obviously) before his first haircut. What a fun little guy he is!

Playing peek-a-boo in Page's legs. He loves to pull up on peoples legs and stand up holding on to their pants. Note to self: always have the draw string tied, just in case.

Sweet Jaxon having fun at Rowan's fourth birthday party.

Loving his Daddy! He just started giving kisses when you ask for one. He thinks it's quite a fun game and he'll give them over and over and over (no complaints from this Mommy).

Playing with his new puppy from Ouma and Oupa.

Uncle Nick and Wyatt. Jaxon and Wyatt are just 10 weeks apart - what fun they will have growing up together!

Cute new shirt from Dad and Nancy!

We let Jaxon open his gift from Mommy and Daddy before we left Mississippi. It was fairly large and we didn't want to drag it back and forth just so he could open it Christmas Day.

It snowed a little when we first got to Kansas City. You can see the hunting dogs; Molly and Bubba, enjoying the light dusting of snow in my parents backyard.

Our nephew Wyatt - the crawling master. He is such a happy baby!

Soon, Jaxon learned to crawl! The two of them had fun crawling all over the picture studio in the mall, while we waited our turn.

Here is Jaxon, back in Mississippi, with his new toy from Mommy and Daddy. He enjoys pulling up on it and dancing to the music. He just started the "dancing" (it's more like head bobbing) on Monday and he loves the reaction he gets from me when he dances. I think this toy is a hit - good job to Daddy for picking it out!
