We met up with some friends from Cedar Creek. This is a family that is very special to us and have been very good to us the past few years. I was their 8th grade daughter, Betsy's, fourth and fifth grade teacher! When we were living in KS, Betsy babysat Jaxon several times. Their 6th grader, Caroline, was in my fifth grade class just last year. This family was a rock for me while I was at Cedar Creek and we miss them dearly, but we're so glad to have had some time to see them while we were home.

Mom, Stacey, enjoying some "rare" Jaxon time. Usually the girls hog Jaxon and barely let Stacey hold him. Stacey was one of the awesome ladies who loved on Jaxon when I went back to work last spring. She was thrilled to keep him one day while I was teaching.

Sweet Caroline giving Jaxon a squeeze.

Jaxon's favorite babysitter, Betsy, reuniting. He just loves her!

Their third grade daughter, Olivia, getting her time with Jaxon.
We spent one evening at home with some of Jason's high school friends; Nick and his kids and Mitch and his family. I didn't get many pictures from the night, but we had a great time eating, doing a puzzle (sorry again for finishing that puzzle Jen) and catching up. We were also very excited to meet Mitch's newest family member, Cooper. I can't believe I didn't get a picture of the new baby, but he is a cutie pie.
Here's Nick holding Jaxon!
