I tried to keep us busy, but still schedule in some relaxation time (since it was her spring break).
Page threw a(nother) birthday party for Jaxon since she couldn't be down here for his birthday.
Enjoying cake for the second time in his little life.
For those of you who don't know, this month is Mustache March in the Air Force. There is some history on this dating back to the Vietnam War. The majority of the students in Jason's class are participating, as well as the IP's. Here is Jason's progress about halfway through the month. If you know Jason, you know that he despises facial hair of any kind on his face, so this is quite a stretch for him. I am not enjoying the 'stache too much either, but it's fun for him to participate. It is quite funny seeing mustaches all over base down here! We're both counting down the days till April 1 when he can shave this thing off. I'll blog at the beginning of April so you can see what 31 days without shaving your upper lip looks like.
Page and Jaxon loved to walk all over the house. They both would giggle as they made several circles around the living room.
Jaxon loves to wrestle anyone who is laying on the ground.
Jason and Page enjoyed many games on the Wii. I think she beat him in baseball and tennis.
Page let me braid her hair!! I've been dying to braid her hair for 8 years, and she finally let me.
We went to Starkville one afternoon and painted pottery. She painted a dog, that looked just like Cooper, and a beautiful bowl.
You just can't come down to Columbus without bowling! We had a lot of fun and I even won a game!! Thanks to Page for the bumpers!
Page having fun feeding Jaxon his applesauce at the bowling alley.
I took Page to see the Harlem Globtrotters in Tupelo, MS while Jason and Jaxon stayed home. It was a great show and really fun for Page, since she just finished her basketball season. Afterward, we stuck around and got an autograph from one of the players, who happened to be named, Flight Time.
Unfortunately, my camera didn't zoom well and made Page blurry, but here's our attempt to get her picture outside the main gate.
At the Birmingham Airport, ready to head back home. Just seconds earlier we learned that Page had been bumped to First Class (which is why I think she is smiling - otherwise she would be really sad to leave her Aunt Mimi, I mean her Cousin Jaxon haha).
Last good-bye hugs and kisses! See ya in April Page for your 1st Communion!
