Air Show in Tuscaloosa

We went to an air show in Tuscaloosa, AL last weekend put on by the city of Tuscaloosa. Honestly, it was one of the best air shows we've ever been to. They had non-stop flying going on, so there was always something to watch. The Blue Angels were there and put on a great show (as always). There was also some great Air Force demos including; a C-17, two KC-135's, and an A-10. Plus the Army Golden Knights Parachute Team and some old aircraft as well.

We met up with Chris and Mae and they took some amazing pictures with their camera. I didn't get their pictures downloaded to our computer yet, but may get them on here soon. If you're facebook friends with me, be sure to check out the pictures Mae tagged me in on there, I told them they could sell them to the Blue Angels ~ the pictures are that good!

All in all, it was a great way to spend a Saturday.

Enjoying the show!

Jax and Mama watching the airplanes. Jaxon is very aware of the airplanes in the sky, because they fly over our house all hours of the day. If you ask him, "Where is the airplane Jaxon?" He will point up to the sky and follow the plane with his finger.

A C-17. This plane is a monster.

Jaxon chilling with "Uncle" Chris while planes fly overhead.

The best seat at the airshow!

Mr. Cool!

Some old T-6's flying in formation. Jason trained on the new T-6.

And as soon as the Blue Angels took to the sky, Jaxon was out. He slept through most of their performance!

I think I need to send Jaxon a KU hat so he won't have to wear that purple one. :)
