Family Pizza Night

In an effort to try and get Jaxon to eat more of a variety of foods (his current food choices rotate between Mac and Cheese, Grilled Cheese Sandwiches and Fish Sticks), we have started having him cook with us more. He's always helped us in the kitchen, but now we're having him do quite a bit more than measure, pour and stir. Jason even has him crack the eggs for Saturday morning breakfast (I am not quite as trusting yet).

This particular evening, I had picked up three individual-sized pizza crusts and announced that it was family pizza night. We told Jaxon that he would make one of the pizzas for him and Sissy to share, but he insisted on making Mommy's and Daddy's too (which was awesome). And we can now add homemade pizzas to Jaxon's list of "Foods He'll Eat".

He loved spreading the sauce on the crusts.

Sprinkling cheese! This is not the easiest task in the Riggs home, because Daddy loves a lot of cheese. Jaxon got a big thumbs up from his Daddy!

Here's the kiddos pizza before going in to the oven. I didn't get the "after" pic because we got in a hurry to eat, but it was delicious.
