Yuma, AZ in August

Jason had the opportunity to head back to Yuma for a few days. After several days in Yuma, they stopped in Tucson, AZ for 18 hours.

They stayed at the J.W. Marriott Resort in Tucson, AZ.

A view of the hotel from the golf course.

What else should the air crew do during the day? Golf, of course.

Many of you know that my Aunt Stephanie lives in Tucson, AZ. We have been hoping Jason would get a trip there soon so he could see her. 18 hours isn't much time, but Jason called her to see if they could have dinner together. She was kind enough to drive to his hotel and buy him dinner. It was so great for him to see family!

When my aunt called to say "they" were on their way to the hotel, Jason assumed my Uncle Gary was with her. What a shock for Jason to discover that "they" were my Aunt Stephanie and my stepmom, Nancy!! She happened to be up there visiting for a few days and the timing couldn't have been more perfect. It was so great for Jason to see family while away from his little Pekin family.

ok I hate rattle snakes and only because we've found 5 in my yard when we first moved in. It looks like he like Erik has tons of fun on the trips.
