Our first day in Kansas, we met at Page's school for a Heritage Festival. I loved meeting her teacher and seeing her classroom. It sure made me miss teaching 5th grade, but no, I'm not ready to give up my current full time job.

That night, my stepsister's kids spent the night, along with Page. It was a full house of cousins!

My beautiful mom and beautiful niece in Page's classroom.

Thanksgiving day was spent at my sister's (Aunt Ninny's) where she made a delicious meal. The highlight of the day was getting to Skype Jason. We didn't know if we'd get a chance on Thanksgiving, so we were very excited to get to see him.

Sissy loved her Thanksgiving meal. I think she tried and liked everything!

Me and my amazing kids. Dakota is on meal #2. She had her first meal for lunch, then took a nap, and had her second meal for dinner. Jaxon is eating a roll and Cheerios, he just doesn't know what he's missing by passing up turkey.

Page!!

Jaxon quickly passed out on Uncle Austin after filling his belly. We can't blame the tryptophan for his tiredness, all he has in his belly is two rolls!

I went in to Page's room and found Jax and Page watching out the window for family. Before the doorbell rang, those two would come running from her bedroom and swing the front door open to greet the Thanksgiving guests.
