Jason has been out of town for several weeks, so the kids and I headed to Kansas for a long weekend. A close friend of the family got married and we were excited to celebrate her big day with her and her family.
I peeked out the window one morning and found the kids and Memaw all with a newspaper in hand, reading. By the time I grabbed the camera, the kids had put their papers down, but I still thought it was a cute moment to capture.
Jaxon told me, on the drive to Kansas, that all he wanted to do in Kansas was turn the lights on in Ninny's police car. We were able to meet up with her during her shift one afternoon. I was excited to finally get pictures of Dakota in Ninny's police car too (she slept through the last time), but she slept through it again!!
