TEN YEARS AGO

Had to hijack the blog and just say how amazing Megan is.  I am not sure how many people know or understand the depth of her sacrifice in her willingness to follow me on a dream that God placed in my heart when I was four years old.  Even though we had just had Jaxon, I believe had we stayed in Kansas Megan would have chosen to continue her career in teaching.  However because of her choice to follow me and allow God to use us, she gave up her promising career in education.

Her career was not the only thing she choose to sacrifice though.  We both grew up in the Kansas City area and our parents to this day live within about twenty minutes of each other.  I know that Megan has a very close relationship with her mother and would never have dreamed when we got married that she would have to move so far away and not have the chance to see her everyday if she wanted to.  However, God had different plans for us and Megan being a faithful woman of God listened to His calling and was willing to leave the only home she ever knew to join me on the journey that has placed us where we are today!

I love you with all my heart Megan Riggs, and cannot dream what my life would be like with out you.  I know that our two kiddos feel the same way!
