Hollywood Studios

What a fun park! There was so much for the kids to do at Hollywood Studios and both of their favorites were there; Star Wars and Frozen!

Breakfast Time!

This was Jaxon's breakfast of champions.
Cupcake for breakfast, why not?

Getting an autograph from a Green Army Man
from Toy Story.

As we were getting in line for the Indiana Jones Stunt Show, Jaxon and Dakota were asked to be the Junior Directors. Dakota was too shy, but Jax did it and was fantastic. Here he is with the director, getting his instructions:

On the Behind the Scenes Tour:

I'm not afraid to admit that I'm not a fan of Star Wars. And to make it fair, I really haven't watched an entire episode, but Sci Fi has never really interested me. Jason and our kids are huge fans. They have watched every movie together. Twice. Despite that I haven't seen any of the movies and I know very little about them, I loved this experience. The Jedi Training Academy was amazing! I was so happy watching Jaxon in his element. Both kids thought they wanted to do the Jedi Training Academy, but when it came time to sign up, Dakota decided to sit that one out.

Luke is ready to take on Darth Vader!

Getting dressed and ready to head to the Jedi Academy.

Waiting in line to go up on stage.

The Stage!
The sun was right on the stage and the photographer said
it's about 100 degrees on stage!

Cooling off the academy trainees before they begin.

Uh oh! Time to defeat the dark side!

These videos are fantastic! Watch Jaxon during the training, then watch him defeat Darth Vader!

After the Jedi Training and after riding the new Star Wars ride, Jaxon made his own Light Saber. Super cool experience!

A brand new exhibit at Hollywood Studios was Oaken's Trading Post (from the movie Frozen). There was real snow to play with and an ice skating rink!

Our hockey player might have been skating circles
around the locals. Ice skating at Disney! Who would've thought?

We had dinner that night at the Sci Fi Drive-in! We ate in an old car and watched old movies on the Drive-in screen.

More amazing desserts!

After dinner, we found our spot for the Frozen Fireworks!

It wouldn't be Disney magic without snow at the end of the fireworks show!

And here are some of the professional pictures from Hollywood Studios:

Both kids rode Tower of Terror! They were pretty nervous in line, listening to the music and seeing some of the eerie props, but they did great on the ride. Here is a little video the park put together of our ride:
