Dakota's First Swim

As many of you know, we are currently living in Peoria, IL in a hotel. Peoria Air National Guard can only guarantee us three months up here, so we decided it wasn't worth hauling all of our things up here and moving into a rental. So, we're living in an extended stay Marriott Residence Inn for the next three months. It is very tight quarters, but we are making the most of it.

We wasted no time getting Dakota into the hotel pool for her first swim. As we were getting her into her little swimsuit, we both realized that Jaxon had his first swim at this exact hotel pool!! We were up here turning in paperwork after Jason got home from commissioning two years ago.

Enjoying a family swim. I'm guessing this will be a major source of entertainment for us over the next 3 months. Jaxon is a great swimmer with his life jacket, so it's nice to have an indoor pool on those days when we need a break from living on top of each other.
