Some of you may know that we had some good friends in Little Rock, who lived across the street, that were pregnant at the same time as us. We met Ryan and Julia in Columbus, well technically, Jason knew Ryan from his officer commissioning school (AMS) in Knoxville. Ryan was picked up by the St. Jo, MO ANG and also flies C-130's. Ryan was a class ahead of us in Columbus and we found out just before leaving Columbus, that his wife Julia was pregnant and due within days of us. We ended up having Dakota on a Tue morning and their son, Levi, was born that Wednesday morning. Julia had a lot of fun in Little Rock comparing our pregnancies, taking long walks through the neighborhood (trying to "walk" those babies out) and pigging out on ice cream whenever we felt the need (daily).
They are now settled in Liberty, MO (about 45 minutes from where we're from in KS). They bought a beautiful home there and Ryan is commuting to St. Jo for his C-130 seasoning with his unit. While we were in KS last month, we went up to Liberty to see their new home and visit. It was fun having Levi and Dakota side by side.
Levi's daddy is probably 6 ft. 5 in., so that explains why Levi looks so much longer than Dakota (plus Kota has her legs all pulled up). Oh and excuse the non-matching pink socks, it was all I had in the diaper bag.

And of course, Big Brother had to jump in for a picture!
