SURPRISE!

Memaw turned 60 at the end of September, so the kids and I decided to surprise her and go to Kansas to help her celebrate for a few days. We are sorry we didn't call anyone or see anyone, we weren't there long and both the kids and I were sick the whole time. The kids had croup and Dakota had an ear infection on top of that. Turns out I had a sinus infection and ear infection as well.

Memaw was blown away when she saw us walk in to the restaurant. My sister had arranged for her family to take Memaw to dinner that night and then we showed up at the restaurant too! Even cooler? My sister decided not to tell Papa Schu or my niece Page either. What fun!

Look at that dessert! In the pot was a marshmallow/chocolate mix. It was like S'mores with strawberries - yum!

Dakota and dog, Molly. Molly had just lost her best friend, Bubba, the day before and she just let Dakota pet her and kiss her and love on her.
