Let's Play Ball
Jaxon and his Daddy got his Tee-ball set out a few weeks ago. They love to practice hitting off the tee several times a week. Jaxon especially loves to watch Jason hit the ball really hard, then Jaxon loves to run and get it. If he connects with the ball, Jaxon will say, "Nice"!

Happy Easter!
Dying Eggs
Resurrection Celebration at Church
Our church down here, Brockington Road Church of the Nazarene, had an awesome Easter celebration for kids lat Saturday. There were games, pictures with the Easter bunny, face painting, a petting zoo, egg hunt, and moon walks. Jaxon had so much fun! I know Jason scanned the picture of Jaxon sitting on the Easter Bunny's lap, I'll post it later when I find where he saved it.
Adoring the little chickens.

There were two ponies at the petting zoo.
Concentrating on carrying the egg on the spoon for the spoon race.
Filling a bucket with eggs at the egg hunt.
Off to find some more eggs.
Having so much fun on the moon walk.
Happy Easter! He had just gotten a fresh haircut the day before. I think it aged him a few years!
It's a Girl!
Dakota Abigail Riggs was born April 6 at 6:51AM. 6 lbs 13 oz and 20 in long. She is a perfect little sweetie and has a head full of thick, black hair. She is beautiful and absolutely adored by her big brother. He wanted to hold her the entire time he was visiting the hospital and he would not stop kissing her. He said, "Mine. My Dakota."
There are several pictures on several different cameras and somehow, my camera ended up with the least. I'm posting them anyway and hopefully tonight Jason and I can get some better pictures off our phones and other cameras. There are some adorable ones of Dakota and Jaxon that I'll get posted as soon as I get my hands on them.
Dakota and Mommy meet for the first time. I was still in shock that she was a girl. I just had my mind made up that I would only have sons. What a joy she is!!

Mommy, Daddy and Dakota after a very long night. We got checked in to the hospital at 10:30 PM and she decided to finally join us the next morning at 6:51 AM. We were progressing well, my water just would not break (and the nurses wouldn't break it until the Dr arrived at 6:00 the next morning). It made for a long, sleepless night, but she is here safe and healthy.
A healthy baby girl. Jaxon was 7 lb and 20 1/3 in, so they are very similar in size. He came two days before his due date and Dakota came one day before hers.
Here she is after Daddy cut her cord. Look at all that hair!! I can't wait for ribbons and bows.
