We made it to Kansas for Jaxon's second Halloween. We left Mississippi Thursday, Oct. 29 and got here Friday evening. Jaxon didn't do much trick-or-treating, but it was sure fun watching him parade in his Horse costume. We put the costume on him Friday night and had him look at himself in the mirror. He started dancing and laughing hysterically. He didn't want us to take the costume off and told us "no" when we tried. I've also included pictures from the pumpkin patches we visited a few weeks before Halloween.
Jason is now in Spokane, WA until the last weekend in November. He is there for parachute training, land survival and resistance training. Although he is not super excited about doing the training and especially sad to be separated from Jax and I, he is glad to be getting it over with and will have C-130 school to look forward to when he gets home. We will leave KS some time the first week of December and head to Little Rock, where we'll be until July. We are expecting baby #2 the first week of April, so we are anxious to get to Little Rock and get settled as we prepare to become a family of four.

PUMPKIN PATCH WITH RIGGS COUSINS:
So excited to have found a pumpkin just his size! It was a bit chilly that day with the wind blowing, but Jaxon didn't seem to notice.
Look how big I am! He was so prepared for the cold and mud with his boots and two sweatshirts.

FALL FESTIVAL WITH HOPE:
Our next door neighbors in Mississippi (the Lee family) invited us to their church's fall festival. Jaxon had so much fun with his Hope.
Once he figured out the object of the game was to get the bean bag in the clown's mouth, he decided to just walk up to the clown and pass the bean bag through. No need to work harder than necessary when there's a prize involved.

Again finding an easier way to win. He decided to just walk up to the 2 liter and place the ring around it, rather than toss.

Jason has been dying to teach Jaxon to slide head first for several months now. I've had every excuse in the book, mainly didn't want him landing head first into mud. So we were indoors with soft carpet at the bottom of the slide and I couldn't come up with any excuses for why Jason couldn't teach him to slide head first. So, here he is! He loved it and went head first later that day without being prompted by Daddy.
He LOVED the mechanical rides. Here is is on a musical fire truck.
