Happy Birthday...

ONE YEAR MILESTONES:

Jaxon is finally too big for his baby tub! I still can't believe we used it for a whole year, but he was a little frightened when we tried the big tub a few months ago and since he still fit in the baby tub, we didn't bother switching. Now he is way too big for the baby tub and he LOVES the big tub. He had fun taking his first bath in the big tub on his birthday.







Forward-facing car seat. He thinks he's pretty cool riding in the car facing forward. He looks at me in the rear-view mirror and cracks up laughing. Here he is looking out the window at all of the cars and trucks zooming by.




Here's Page on Skype! She called us on Skype to watch Jaxon eat birthday cake Sunday and also on Monday to watch him open his birthday presents.

Fridge Phonics and clothes! Yeah!! I haven't had a chance to get the fridge phonics out of the box yet, but Jaxon still plays with it every morning. He presses the letter "A" in the box and dances to the music.

"Push Toy" from Ouma and Oupa. He doesn't quite have the hang of this yet, but he likes to push it while crawling on his knees. I think I have it on video and will try to get Jason to help me burn some DVD's next weekend to send home to everyone.

Our baby turned one!! We can hardly believe that it has been a year since he was born. We had a small party for him with some friends down here and my mom - who was in town for all of our Feb birthdays. Jaxon enjoyed being the center of attention and LOVED his first taste of sugar. He wasn't sure what to do with the cake at first, but once he got a good bite of it, he dove right in. Page Skyped us during the party, so she got to enjoy watching Jaxon eat his first birthday cake.


Cooper stayed outside during the party because there was so many people in the house. Jaxon gets a kick out of watching Cooper from indoors and kept knocking on the door and waving at him.

We tried getting a picture of all of Jaxon's "friends" who came to the party, but missed a few. Here are the pictures we did get.
