Jason wanted to spend his last day in KS (before leaving for SERE in WA) with Jaxon. We planned to go to the petting zoo, but it was a bit chilly that day and we ended up at Chuck E. Cheese. Jaxon had a blast and didn't want to leave. We were lucky that we went during the day in the middle of the week and only had to share the entire place with 3 other children.

Jason has been dying to teach Jaxon to slide head first for several months now. I've had every excuse in the book, mainly didn't want him landing head first into mud. So we were indoors with soft carpet at the bottom of the slide and I couldn't come up with any excuses for why Jason couldn't teach him to slide head first. So, here he is! He loved it and went head first later that day without being prompted by Daddy.
He LOVED the mechanical rides. Here is is on a musical fire truck.

He sat in all four of the mechanical rides even without putting tokens in them. He LOVES cars, trucks and tractors.

My cheap father puts my children in those kind of rides and then shakes them for a while, I know, right?
