Memaw's Last Little Rock Visit

Memaw was able to come down one last time before we start packing up to leave Little Rock. We squeezed a lot into her long weekend and enjoyed every minute of it!

HEIFER VILLAGE:

We visited Heifer Ranch a few weeks ago and while Memaw was down here, we were able to tour their headquarters at Heifer Villiage.
They had some great visuals and object lessons about their mission to end world hunger. We ate lunch in their delicious cafe and toured their very "green" headquarters building. Be sure to read about them on their website, if you haven't already. They are doing great things!

Our silly boy entertaining himself while waiting for lunch to be served.

I just love this face!

Jax and his Memaw! It wasn't too long after this that he fell asleep at his chair, lost his balance and was caught less than 6 inches off the floor by his Daddy. Thank goodness Jason still has quick reflexes!

SUNDAY SCHOOL PARTY AT BURNS PARK:

Our adult Sunday School class had a cookout at Burns Park. We got there a little early so Jaxon could ride the rides in the little amusement park.

Aren't they just the cutest friends?

Riding the Merry-go-round while Memaw looks on!

He was completely laid out on this thing! Jason tried to convince him to "drive" one of the cars, because he knew Jax wouldn't be able to reach the handlebars. But Jax insisted on driving "Daddy's bike" and just to prove Daddy wrong, he laid all the way out to be able to reach those handlebars!

Here he comes. I think Jason really wanted him to drive the blue Air Force Mustang in front of the motorcycles!

VBS SUNDAY:

Our VBS concluded with a program in front of the entire church. Jaxon came to VBS the entire week, and although he wasn't old enough to participate, the preschool teachers let him partake in snacks, crafts, music, and sometimes Bible story. He loved VBS and is still talking about it and singing some of the songs from it. Here is a picture of him on the front row (far left) performing his VBS songs in front of the church.
