Am I the only one who has an urge to cook and bake while snowed in? I guess it sounded warming (if that's a phrase). Jaxon asked Daddy to get him a step stool so he could help Mommy cook.

And clean the fingers. Note to friends and family: this is the first and last time anyone has ever licked a scraper, beater or fingers while making cookies in my kitchen. You are safe to eat future cookies made by the Riggs' family. Well, I can't guarantee your safety. Oh never mind. Jaxon and I are dough eaters - sorry it's just the way it is.

Each dish got rinsed for a minimum of 5 minutes. I guess he wasn't taking a chance of leaving a sud on those dishes.

OH how much fun. Now I want to go make cookies. My kids love helping as well. We are also fans of the dough. Did you get a cute new hair cut? I love it. if not a new hair cut it looks super cute anyway.
I agree that baking always sounds perfect when it's cold outside!!
I love what a great helper Jax is! He has always been that way! I can't wait to cook with our kiddo! :-) Your kitchen looks awesome & you must be SO happy to have your mixer back!! :-)
I always thought that cookie dough was for eating. Now you tell me I was supposed to bake it first? I always loved cooking with the kids!
