Gingerbread Houses
We had so much fun on Sunday making gingerbread houses at Ali and Ayden's house! This was Jaxon's first time to make one and he had such a good time. We did it right after lunch, so Sissy was down for a nap. It was probably better she wasn't there to "help" because I imagine she would have tried to eat most of the candy, icing and house. After she woke up, the finished houses were on display and I wish I had gotten a picture of her the first time she saw them. She kept oohing and ahing over them.
Ready to decorate!
Look at the concentration.

Finished product! He was so proud. He loved decorating the house, but did not like getting icing all over his fingers. I tried to explain that there's really no other way, but after awhile he decided to dictate how he wanted me to put candy in certain places so his fingers could stay clean.

And here's beautiful Ali with her house.
All of the finished houses and trains. They all looked so nice! We can't wait to do it again next year with Daddy!
