More Baseball

Jaxon's baseball season has come to a close and to say he had fun is an understatement! The kid LOVES baseball and (I think) would play everyday if possible. He missed one game due to family vacation and he was pretty concerned about his team and how he would get his exercise that week. Later in the season, a game was cancelled due to weather and there were tears at our house. We're very glad that he loves it this much and can't wait to see his skills develop over the years. Fall is right around the corner and we were pretty settled on getting him into hockey, but have recently learned of an opportunity to play fall baseball. We'll leave the decision up to him, but I have a feeling the kid will stick to the 'ol bat and ball.

On first, looking to advance with the next hit. I believe this was the play when his coach was waving him on to third, but he was too busy sliding head-first into second, that he missed the opportunity!
