The Norm

This is normal right? Everybody has at least one friend with an ice skating rink in their backyard. Right?

 One of Jaxon's best friends from hockey has a family who love breathe hockey. They enjoy their hockey so much, that they decided to turn their backyard swimming pool into an ice rink. They had an above ground pool for several years, but tired of the maintenance from it very quickly. Once they removed the pool, they were left staring at a huge circle, a few inches deep, in their backyard. Most of us would have seen an eye sore and ran to the local nursery for some sod or grass seed. But this family saw the potential of an ice rink. The hole was quickly covered with a tarp and come every winter, the hole is filled with water while the family waits for it to freeze solid. Genius!
