Hockey Season

Another hockey season has come to a close and Jaxon is not happy about it. This kid loves hockey!! He had another great season and he has become an incredible skater. He can skate backwards, about as fast as I skate forward. Next year he will move up to the bigger team in a bigger league. He will play with 5-8 year olds and he cannot wait.

In January, Jaxon was asked to play in an AAU tournament. The players in this tournament were incredible, but Jax held his own. He skated hard and learned a ton! He played six full ice games over two days and he loved every minute of it.

Ready to take the ice for the AAU tournament!

He was one of the smallest on the team, but he skated strong.

Sometimes Dakota gets a hold of my phone and takes pictures. I end up deleting most of them, but the next five pictures are some she took and I wanted to keep them to remind myself of her perspective. She is a proud hockey sister and has never complained about the amount of time we spend at the rink. Yet.

Jaxon's team got to play in between quarters at the Peoria Riverman game again this year. He had a blast and this year his daddy got to be on the ice with him, since Jason helped coach his hockey team.

Jax has the puck.
