I definitely don't find myself complaining about the cold weather too often. I mean, you can't grow up in Kansas and expect nice weather every day. However, living in the south for the last two years has certainly spoiled me a little. I didn't wear a winter coat (except when I went home to Kansas to visit) for two years! All this being said, I am ready for spring. I don't do well with the teasing of 70 degrees one day and 33 degrees four days later. I need to clean my car, organize and clean the garage, organize the storage shed, start planting flowers, and so much more. But I refuse to do any of this unless it's at least 65 degrees out.
So for now, we stay inside. And continue to bake sweets to stay entertained.
Why can't I lick the spoon Mama? Because I'm giving you the whole beater today!
Daddy requested some Neiman Marcus cookies one night. Jaxon and I were happy to make some.

Mmmmmm. Only about half this batter makes it in to the oven. The rest gets eaten as dough!
