Page and Ninny Visit!

This is the second year in a row that Page and Aunt Ninny have come up to Illinois to spend a holiday weekend with us in January. Page was off school, to observe MLK day, so they drove up on a Saturday morning and spent a few days here. We had a great time and the kids would not let Page out of their sight. Literally. Poor girl couldn't get privacy here if she tried! She is a wonderful cousin, though and plays every game with them they ask, reads every book to them that they love and plays school/house with them until it is way past their bedtime. Jaxon and Dakota were so sad for them to leave Monday, but have a lot of great memories from their weekend together.

They had been planning to come that weekend for some time and it just so happened that Jaxon's hockey team was the featured peewee club playing during a Rivermen hockey game. Such a treat! Not only did they get to see him play hockey, but they got to see him play on the big guys' ice. AWESOME!
